For Paris Design Week, "HANJIMANIA" (Sept 10–27, Hôtel de la Marine) uses Korean hanji paper as its medium, inviting Pierre Yovanovitch, Studio KO, Constance Guisset, Aline Asmar d'Amman, Harry Nuriev and Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau to reinterpret it as lamps, chairs and installations. Co-organized with North Gyeongsang Province and timed to the 140th anniversary of France–Korea diplomatic ties, it hangs inside a state monument on the Place de la Concorde.
One nation's craft tradition, physically installed inside another city's national monument — a brand-meets-city moment at heritage scale.
