At Paris Design Week, Swiss textile house Fischbacher 1819 and Persian carpet maker Zollanvari present the "Silk Road Collection" — hand- and flat-woven rugs drawn from "the historic trade route where color, material, technique and ideas traveled." Two heritage houses from opposite ends of the old Silk Road meet on a single Paris floor.

Two artisan brands from different worlds translate "the road ideas traveled" into a floor you can literally stand on.
